gd late period gem |
this post is for the folks who listen to every period of the grateful dead.a little summer gem from 93,both nights well played.i've been braggin about this stella blue for awhile and put in a request at shn/flac and woke to up to find out it was uploaded with 4 seeders to start it off,very kind folks at shn/flac and always willing to share if they have the show.just wanted to give a heads up to those who like me can find a golden nugget in every year of the grateful dead shows,enjoy the show and sweet sweet stella.

Dang!, Tiger, you're killin me here! I had almost gotten caught up on my archiving, and you keep sending me back to get some more! Seriously, thanks for the pointers. Been picking up a lot of good shows from your posts. Keep up the good work. Now its time to go sell some plasma to buy some more DVDs. thanks(?)

Hey Tigerbolt.
At the risk of starting the madness I thought I'd let you know that there is an Omni show from 1995 I love. 3/27/95 The first set has a jerry car crash on Sugaree that is true but I love the second set.

i was at that show and yeah jerry was struggling but they did make it up a bit in the second set.i did the whole spring run that year except philly and realize by tampa it was over,a few good shows but in a somber way i new in tampa that would be the last time i saw the boys.jerry waved to our section after u.s.blues like he knew.still the music lives on and will be long after i'm gone.

There are 2 nights in Boston the fall of 94 that are surprisingly good for the time. The sat night show has a great So many roads and stella and one of the other gigs has a Playin>eyes second set opener. Not the dead at their best but you can tell the effort is there.

Hi all..
Another great one from 95 i think is 5/26/95 from Seattle.
Was listening to it a few days ago and was again surprised by how good some parts of this show are - FRANKLIN,or FIRE,for instance..
